Even successful retail brands need to evolve with their customers. The instructions from Kathmandu were to "give the brand a new face, a logo that can be unified across the business, reflect the design philosophy, and capture the spirit of 'exciting adventures.'"
With 95% of the company's total sales coming from the Kathmandu brand, it was crucial to come up with a logo that would fit the product. We developed a new logo that stripped away all the superfluous and finished it to fit every occasion, from signage to zipper knobs.
