The 2010 Winter issue of the Christchurch Art Gallery’s publication, the Bulletin, uses die cuts, gloss lamination and metallic ink on the cover to capture the spirit of Andrew Drummond’s bronze work.
As the cover turns, the perforated holes cast circular shadows onto a photographic detail of Drummond’s kinetic work – representative of the artist’s conceptual play of reflections and motion. Metallic ink is used throughout to continue the cover theme. Interior spreads feature large images and typographic detail to bring the gallery’s artworks to life in a printed format.
