Effie Awards 2022
We are extremely honoured to have received a Silver Effie Award for our Te Anau Time campaign.
There are a lot of awards out there. But, for marketing communications effectiveness, none carry the prestige and authority of the Effie Awards. The Effie Awards are known by advertisers and agencies globally as the pre-eminent accolade in the industry, and for over 50 years, winning an Effie has become a global symbol of achievement. The Effies are renowned to be result-focused - honouring the most effective advertising efforts, spotlighting ideas that work and encouraging thoughtful dialogue about the drivers of marketing effectiveness.
This award feels particularly special to us, as the recognition highlights the real impact the campaign has had on the Southland region and the people of Te Anau. Of course, none of this would be possible without the huge team effort from our Strategy whānau and partners. Paul Gunn from Gunn Communications led the PR - developing the idea alongside our team and launching the campaign into mainstream media. Another big thank-you has to go to our client, Anke Ruwette from Great South, for being bold, brave and trusting in our vision.
