Pelorus is an aperitif style sparkling wine made by Cloudy Bay, New Zealand’s iconic winemaker. We were asked to design a gift box to help raise visibility and increase awareness of the product.
We delved into the idea of Pelorus Jack, the legendary dolphin, to find a concept for our design work. Carefully avoiding cliché, we opted to reflect the sparkling personality of the wine by representing the shimmering iridescence of a dolphin’s path through the waves.
