Yakult

Yakult Lady

This is a short film for the web by Yakult Europe, which has a headquarters in the Netherlands. Based on the history of the birth of Yakult, a health drink that originated in Japan, its unique sales channel method, and the activities of Yakult Lady, the production company MikeTeeVee production company in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, developed the story and planned filming in Japan.

We are in charge of producing the Japan side of this work. Since it is an advertising video work overseas, a high skill level is required in all areas, and we made full use of our ability to work with multinational staff, such as location coordination, casting, shooting schedule, and Japan side full bilingual crew staffing, and contributed to the high-level quality of this internationally accepted work. During preparation and shooting, there is a lot of communication between the client and the Dutch director, across countries. In a sense, the video industry in Japan has become Galapagosized, and in many cases, smooth communication and coordination between the production team on the Japan side and the foreign crew are difficult, but many of our staff are native English speakers. The Dutch crew, who were filming for the first time in Japan, were able to concentrate on filming with peace of mind. The staff at the set are a multinational group from more than four countries, and of course, the official language of the company is English, and we always work with international standards. In this project, we were able to make full use of our international sensibilities.
